New Zealand's Peter HuntPeter Hunt and Australians Steve Duke, Tony David will be heading North to the Netherlands in May to play in the second International Darts League Event. They will be joining other international players like Raymond van Barneveld , Ted Hankey ,Mervyn King, this years Lakeside Champion, Andy Fordham and more.

The format of play is 8 groups of 4 players each round Robin system best of 11 legs. After the first round the first two players in every group qualify for the last sixteen.

In the last 16 the IDL will be using the group system again, 4 groups of 4 players playing each other in a round robin system best of 13 legs were the first two players qualify for the quarter finals.

Last year's champion Raymond van BarneveldThe quarter finals are best of 11 sets (best of 3 x 501), The semi finals is best of 17 sets (best of 3 x 501) and the final on Sunday will be played over the best of 25 sets (best of 3 x 501).

Last year Raymond van Barneveld won the event over Merv King 8 - 5.
